I wanted to take a minute to gush over Spencer. I know this may come as a surprise to all of you who ignored the warning and read on anyway, but I am not perfect and am far from what one might consider a good wife. Despite my many flaws and trust me it is too many to list, Spencer is such a sweet and wonderful husband. On Saturday Ashlee had her Dance Concert...See previous post. Of coarse Spencer was out of town and was not due back until the 19th. Bethy had borrowed some shirts of Ashlee's for Lindsay to wear that day. I was making potato salad for my nephew Timmy's blessing day and the doorbell rang. I thought it was Bethy bringing back the shirts she did not need so I just told Ashlee to go let her in. Anyway, I headed for the door to see Ashlee standing there in shock and then burst out into that belly laugh of hers. I came to the door to see my knight in shinning armor.
That's right he drove home for the concert. Luckily he was only at Bryce Canyon working and it isn't too far of a drive. I was shocked. I knew he was working that weekend so I had no idea he could come home. I had talked to him several times and he acted like he was at work. He even pretended to talk to coworkers while he was alone in the car. I told him to check out our blog because I had posted about Ashlee's dress rehearsal and carpet cleaning. He was driving and could not get online so he called his mom and asked her to tell him what was on there so he could talked to me about it. Sneaky. No one knew.

So that is just one example of the many wonderful things that Spencer does. It made my day and Ashlee thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
I am so grateful to Spencer for all the sacrifices he makes for us. He is a great man and I am proud of who he has become. He has taught me to "relax, and stop and smell the roses."

We have come along way together and I look forward to forever with each other. I love you, Honey.
PS I am not a fan of these pictures, but pictures of me are few and far between. Spencer goes through cameras so fast that I don't want to break any myself with my mug. The first one is on our Honeymoon and the other is recent. I wanted to show how much we have change...or maybe we just have gotten old.
